Description of Individual : I am looking for a respite worker who can build a positive relationship with my son and who has experience with kids on the ASD spectrum. Logan is mostly non-verbal and has some behavioral issues but is a sweetheart. He can get physically aggressive during meltdowns but we would be there during the times you'd be working with him and will deescalate it. These are also rare and only occur when something he depends on for his stim/OCD routines breaks.
Worker's Role : We need someone to come and hang out at home with him and help him with his crafts and small outings(walking to the park or parking garage to ride the elevator - both are two blocks away) He likes to go around the apartment building and trace the numbers so most of the day would be taken up just following him around to keep him safe.

As well if you are available there might be few evenings here and there when I need to go out that you'll be just hanging with Logan at home but that is all based on your own availability and isn't required.
