Children's Mental Health Fund

The Children's Mental Health Fund can fund respite for a family of a child/youth with a mental health need.  The intent of this fund is to prevent permanent institutionalization, family breakdown, and/or crisis.

Eligibility is based on the following:

• vulnerable children and youth up to 18 years of age who are living with their families/care-givers, and
• presence of a moderate to severe mental health concern resulting in significant disruption/reduced functioning/negative impact on the family as confirmed by a mental health professional ie social worker, physician and/or psychologist,
• resident of Perth County,
• have exhausted all other resources before applying to this fund
