The Worker Database offers you the opportunity to be connected to families looking for respite support while maintaining the independence and flexibility of being self-employed. Our database matches independent contractors, like yourself, to families supporting individuals of all ages.

Simply register online, or print the registration form and mail it to us!  Once registered, you will be contacted by the Passport/Respite Advisor to set up an orientation to www.respiteservices.com.  At this orientation, you will be required to present the original copy of your clear Criminal Reference Check, including the Vulnerable Sector section, dated within the past year, as well as three 3 references.

Here are some important points to remember:

• Private Support Workers are NOT therapists and should not be providing direct therapy for families/individuals.
• Please keep your profile up to date as your schedule changes! The database is always evolving as we recruit new workers and families hire workers off the database. Maintaining your profile with your most up-to-date information allows for more successful matches to be made while also decreasing the number of unsuccessful contacts from families.
• Updates may be requested at scheduled times in order to ensure our database is accurately reflecting workers current availability and contact information. Profiles that are not updated by scheduled dates will be made inactive until they are updated.
