GOVERNMENT FUNDED PROGRAMS:

Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities (ACSD)
This program provides assistance to parents with extraordinary costs associated with having a child with serious special needs.

Assistive Devices Program (ADP)
This program provides support and funding to Ontario residents who have long-term physical disabilities and provides access to personalized assistive devices.

Healthy Smiles Ontario
Children under 18 years of age with dental conditions requiring emergency or essential care that do not have dental insurance.

CCAC Enhanced Funding for Medically Fragile Individuals
Enhanced respite for children who are medically fragile and/or technology dependant.

Easter Seals Ontario
Provides assistance to children and youth with long-term physical disabilities for essential equipment and fully accessible camping and recreational programs.

Enhanced Respite Funding
Grant paid to families who are caring for a child who is medically fragile and/or depends on a technological device needing care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Incontinence Supplies Grant Program
For children ages 3-18 which chronic disabilities (physical or developmental) that result in incontinence lasting longer than six months.

Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)
Helps people with disabilities 18 years and older who are in financial need pay for living expenses, provides benefits for prescription drugs, dental and vision care, and assistance to find and keep a job or advance your career.

Frontenac Lennox and Addington Advisory Committee Out-Of-Home Respite for Children with Multiple Disabilities
There may be a small amount of funding available for out of home enhanced respite stays, or enhanced summer camp support.  Ministry funds are dispersed through member agencies.

Passport
This program provides opportunities for individuals who have an intellectual disability and have left school to find more ways to participate in their communities.

Pressures and Priorities
This process allows developmental service agencies to work together to find opportunities to meet requests for service.  Individuals and their families can identify their residential and day supports needs.

Special Services At Home (SSAH)

Provides funding for the personal development and growth of the family member with a disability, and secondly for relief and support for the family.

The Trillium Drug Program
For Ontario residents who have a health card and high prescription drug costs in relation to their net household income.
